CASALOMA CANINE MOTEL

BOOK NOW PAGE REQUIREMENTS

By making a booking with Casaloma Canine Motel (“Casaloma”), the Owner agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. Admission Requirements

All pets must meet Casaloma’s admission requirements before arrival.

Dogs must have a current C5 vaccination.

Cats must have a current F3 vaccination.

Vaccinations must be administered at least fourteen (14) days prior to check-in.

Proof of vaccination must be provided before admission.

Casaloma reserves the right to refuse admission to any pet that does not meet vaccination or health requirements.

2. Health Declaration

The Owner declares that their pet:

• Is in good health

• Is free from contagious disease

• Is free from fleas, ticks and parasites

• Has not shown signs of infectious illness within the previous fourteen (14) days

• Is fit to participate in normal boarding activities

Any medical condition, behavioural issue or special requirement must be disclosed before admission.

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in immediate termination of boarding without refund.

3. Senior Pets and Medical Conditions

Pets aged thirteen (13) years and over, or pets with existing medical conditions, may require a veterinary fitness certificate issued within twelve (12) weeks of admission.

Casaloma reserves the right to refuse admission if the pet is deemed unsuitable for boarding.

Additional care charges may apply for senior pets requiring extra monitoring.

Current rate: $5 per day.

4. Medication Administration

Medication can be administered during boarding provided:

• Medication is supplied in original packaging

• Clear written instructions are provided

• All medications and medical conditions are disclosed prior to arrival

A medication administration fee may apply.

5. Behaviour and Temperament

Owners must disclose any history of:

• Aggression towards people

• Aggression towards animals

• Resource guarding

• Separation anxiety

• Escape tendencies

• Excessive barking

• Bite history

• Other behavioural concerns

Casaloma reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate boarding if a pet presents a risk to staff, other animals or itself.

No refund will be provided where boarding is terminated due to undisclosed behavioural issues.

6. Emergency Veterinary Treatment

In the event of illness, injury or medical emergency, Casaloma will make reasonable efforts to contact the Owner and/or emergency contact.

If immediate treatment is required and contact cannot be established, the Owner authorises Casaloma to obtain veterinary treatment on behalf of the pet.

If Dundas Veterinary Hospital is unavailable, Casaloma may seek treatment from another suitable veterinary clinic or emergency veterinary hospital.

For after-hours emergencies, pets may be referred directly to an emergency veterinary hospital if deemed necessary by the attending veterinarian.

All veterinary expenses remain the responsibility of the Owner.

Additional charges may apply including:

• Transport Fee from $55

• Staff Attendance Fee $25

• Vehicle Sanitisation Fee $15

These fees are payable in addition to veterinary costs.

7. Feeding and Dietary Requirements

Owners may provide their own food or request Casaloma supplied food.

Any special dietary requirements must be disclosed before arrival.

Food supplied by owners should be clearly labelled and portioned where possible.

Casaloma is not responsible for digestive upset, reduced appetite or dietary sensitivities that may occur during boarding.

8. Personal Belongings

Owners may provide bedding, blankets, toys and other personal items at their own risk.

While reasonable care will be taken, Casaloma is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

Items may become soiled, chewed or damaged during normal boarding activities.

9. Boarding Risks

The Owner acknowledges that boarding environments involve inherent risks including:

• Stress-related illness

• Minor injuries

• Dog-to-dog interactions

• Exposure to unfamiliar environments

• Escapes caused by damaged equipment or owner-supplied items

While Casaloma exercises reasonable care and supervision, no boarding facility can guarantee that incidents will never occur.

The Owner accepts these inherent risks.
 

10. Boarding Fees and Payment

Boarding fees are payable in accordance with Casaloma’s current pricing schedule.

A booking deposit of 25% may be required to secure a reservation.

Outstanding balances must be paid before or upon collection unless otherwise agreed.

Additional charges may apply for:

• Medication administration

• Special feeding requirements

• Veterinary visits

• Transport services

• Extended care requirements

11. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and deposit conditions are governed by Casaloma’s Cancellation Policy.

By making a booking, the Owner agrees to the current Cancellation Policy.

12. Collection of Pets

Pets must be collected on the agreed departure date.

Additional boarding fees apply for extended stays.

Where a pet remains uncollected and reasonable attempts to contact the Owner have failed, Casaloma reserves the right to take action in accordance with applicable animal welfare legislation.

Any costs incurred remain the responsibility of the Owner.

13. Photography and Marketing

Casaloma may photograph or record pets during their stay for:

• Welfare monitoring

• Identification purposes

• Website and social media content

• Promotional material

Owners who do not wish their pet to appear in promotional material must notify Casaloma in writing prior to admission.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casaloma shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental loss arising from boarding services.

Nothing in this agreement excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

15. Owner Declaration

By submitting a booking request, checking the agreement box online, or admitting a pet to Casaloma, the Owner confirms that:

• All information provided is true and accurate

• Vaccination requirements have been met

• Medical and behavioural conditions have been disclosed

• The pet is fit for boarding

• The Owner accepts responsibility for all fees and charges

• The Owner has read and agrees to this Boarding Agreement
